RadimCare did not begin at a monitor. It began with people.
At Kavárna Kolibri, the café in the Háje care home for seniors, care, family and ordinary life meet every day. That is where we understood that good technology has to listen first.
FROM EXPERIENCE TO A SOLUTION

Radim brings together the experience of care, research, assistive technology and engineering into one coherent whole. Not in order to direct a person, but to help them keep their safety, their independence and the ability to decide about themselves.
The person doing the caring matters to us just as much. Sometimes it is not only the one being cared for who needs help, but also the one standing beside them every day.

Michal Perna
He combines a business vision with daily contact with seniors and carers at Kavárna Kolibri. He builds RadimCare as a practical service: from the first conversation through the technical design to a solution that has to hold up in a real home.
Technology should have a purpose before it has features.
HUMAN EXPERIENCE AND THE CARER’S PERSPECTIVE
Ing. Denisa Vinařská
Care is not an obligation. It is a decision to be there for another person.
For Denisa, caring for others is not an empty word. She knows what it means to take responsibility at the moment when life does not go to plan — to look for solutions, not to give up, and to be someone’s support even when that takes patience, courage and personal strength.
She brings to Radim the perspective of someone who knows that behind the word “care” there are not only sensors, apps and spreadsheets. There is a particular person: their dignity, their fear, their independence, their family and their need to know that they do not have to face everything alone.
That is why we are building Radim not only for those who need care. We are building it for those who have the courage to give it.

Ing. Petr Novák, Ph.D.
A technical expert from the COGSYS department of cognitive systems and neurosciences at CIIRC, Czech Technical University in Prague. He works on technology that adapts to a person’s abilities — from haptic-cognitive games and platforms for cognitive exercise to the use of IoT in supporting older people.
To our professional collaboration he brings the ability to turn a human need into a working technical solution — and to keep asking whether it is genuinely usable for the person.
